Psychiatry

The Department of Psychiatry provides inpatient and outpatient services to children, adolescents, and adults with mental illnesses.  Our faculty is engaged in patient care and the teaching of students and resident physicians. 

Adult Psychiatry – The Division of Adult Psychiatry integrates training, treatment, and research in all of the psychiatric disorders affecting adults. Clinical teaching within research-driven services allows constant practice updates with evidence from the cutting-edge.

Child and Adolescent Psychiatry - The Division of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry provides clinical services for children and adolescents with neuropsychiatric disturbances and trains medical students, residents in child and adolescent psychiatry.  Quillen ETSU Physicians is one of three Centers of Excellence for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Tennessee.

Forensic Services - Forensic psychiatry is a subspecialty of psychiatry that applies psychiatric expertise to legal issues.
